Awards !

I received these two awards from the gorgeous Hannah from THIS BLOG .

The first one is the Honest Scrap Award and you have to list 10 honest things about you.

1. I smoke. 2. I'm stubborn. 3. I'm loud (occasionally) 4. I find it hard to let go of the apron strings. 5. I love singing, anywhere and everywhere even though i'm crap. 6. I feed Jack Jnr under the table even though he has food in his dish. 7. I used to bite my toe nails (can't reach now) 8. I hate all insects - anything that creeps, crawls or flies. 9. I have a shocking memory. 10. I'm a terrible for doing things last minute. They get done, but always last minute.

Luxury Weekend ...

I spent a glorious weekend down in Bedford with Gwyneth. Honestly, it was like staying in a 5* Hotel !!! That woman has more stamina than I will ever have, and kept me up into the wee small hours laughing and chatting. I really managed to completely chill out and was extremely sad leaving to go home. If you're reading Gwyn - once again, very many thanks xxxx

The twinchies and frame above is a gift that I made for Gwyneth. I used all TH dye ink pads, mostly TH stamps together with Hero Arts, Autumn Leaves and UNITY. Lots of sandpaper, distressers, blossoms, dye cuts etc. were used, and some of the images are 2/3 layers of stamping.

Wow - I can't believe .......

...... its been so long since I posted. I had a bit of a horrendous time for a while there, and I couldn't see the wood for the trees. However, with the help of some wonderful friends, I managed to lift myself out of the myre and come back to reality.

Reality it is ... so .... onto some of my latest work. Ok then, old work, that is new to the blog !!

The top layout has been made using Basic Grey Wisteria from the fabby Sarahscards . The photographs are of my twin brothers wedding that we attended at the end of May. What a fantastic week we had - can you believe, that nearly 100 bottles of champagne were drank in two days !!!

The middle layout was made using the truly lush and gorgeous My Minds Eye Andrea Victoria line HERE. The photograph is of our naughty Jack Junior. At least once a day in our house, you will hear the cry "Oh Jack. Oh no" !!!! If he didn't have such a pretty face, he would be going !!

The last layout was again made with the fabby Andrea Victoria papers, together with an eclectic mix of embellishments. The photographs are of my twinny and I messing about at Christmas.
