What family traditions do you have ?
I am struggling with this one, because i'm sure each family do things that other families think of as strange and weird, but are really a family tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation ....
I eat porridge with salt because my mum does .. no-one else I know does, they have all sugar and milk - yeuch, yeuch.
At Christmas, we used to have to have breakfast before opening our presents - cruel or what ???? I wouldn't dream of doing it to Aaron, because i'm normally as excited as him !! LOL !
Erm erm ... i'll come back later with more - honest !!!

Well I am obviously a cruel woman! I do allow the opening of stocking presents (from Father C) before breakfast (i.e. the crack of dawn) but tree presents have to wait for after breakfast!
We were the same Cal, always had to have brekkie before presents, but we were allowed to open our stocking presents that were left in our bedrooms, but I think this was so mum and dad could have an extra hour lie-in!
had that rule, still have that rule. Cooked family breakfast then pressies. They do get substantial pillow cases stuffed with pressies from Santa though, that they can open.

I'm a bit behind the times I know but had to comment lol. We never open presents until after lunch! We had stocking stuff to keep us occupied, but the real goodies always wait until we've eaten and everything has been washed up too!!
